Jacob Soulliere, baritone, is an award-winning young opera singer with goals to be a full-time performer at the Metropolitan Opera. Jacob began his early classical voice studies with Kent State University emerita, Mary Sue Hyatt. Since then, Jacob has been singing and performing classical music and oratorios as well as understudying operas with well-known people including Mikael Eliasen, Julia Faulkner, Vernon Hartman, Vance George, Kent Tritle and more. Jacob currently studies voice with Chris Nomura at the Manhattan School of Music in New York. In addition, Jacob coaches opera with Cincinatti Opera/Arizona Opera chorus master, Henri Venanzi.
