From 1974 to 1996, Violinist Pinchas Zukerman recorded 22 albums for Deutsche Grammophon and Philips as solo violinist, solo violist and conductor, with the Los Angeles Philharmonic and the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra. A new box set of these recordings will be released July 22, 2016. K-BACH’s Sterling Beeaff chats with the violinist about his accomplishments, and also a few of his teachers, Ivan Galamian and Josef Gingold.
