Last June K-Bach held our Very First Film Event at the FILMBAR in downtown Phoenix and it SOLD OUT! Thursday, October 16, 7:30pm, we'll present the second part of the series, Nodame Cantibile 2, a popular Japanese movie that’s based on a best selling comic about a young pianist and a conductor. Local conductor Keitaro Harada grew up in Japan—and with the comic, Nodame Cantabile. He chats with Sterling Beeaff about the comic’s influence in revitalizing Japan’s classical music scene.

Nodame Cantabile is a hilarious comedy drama complete with a great soundtrack featuring the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra led by James Depriest.
