Multi-Grammy Award Winning guitarist, Sharon Isbin is on tour again and gratefully so. She says she was lucky to have two albums completed and lined up to release in 2020 amid the pandemic. She explains the ten year process she had collaborating with musicians from India, who approached her to record and perform completely original music composed by Amjad Ali Khan. Isbin also gives insight to her other new album, Affinity, which includes original music by Chris Brubeck (son of Dave Brubeck) written just for her. Isbin also shares what she learned and how she spent her free time in NYC over the last two years.

Sharon Isbin will perform at the Musical Instrument Museum on February 8, 2022.
