Linda Cassidy
Linda Cassidy has been KBACH’s weekly on-air host from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for a number of years. Originally from the foggy central coast of Marina, California, Cassidy has also been serving as a classical music host for KDFC in San Francisco since 2000.
Linda is a veteran broadcaster with 25 years in the industry and you may recognize her voice, featured in radio and television commercials nationwide.
When asked about her favorite classical composers, Beethoven, Dvorak, Mendelssohn, Saint-Saens, Part, Chopin, and Debussy immediately come to mind, as do their odes to romance. Speaking of romance, Cassidy says her parents, who have been married for more than 50 years are "still her favorite love story."
In her spare time, Cassidy enjoys being outdoors on a bicycle or watching the world pass by on a hammock. She also gravitates toward a good read, good food with friends and family, long naps in the afternoon and light-hearted discussions about how to change the world.
We hope you appreciate her uplifting voice, the engaging facts she shares and her deep passion for classical music and the arts.
