A graduate of both the famous Hochschule Mozarteum in Salzburg and Indiana University in Bloomington, Steven Moeckel has served as Concertmaster of the Ulm Philharmonic in Germany, the Tuscon Symphony Orchestra, The Phoenix Symphony, and the Santa Fe Opera and currently serves as the Associate Professor of violin at NAU. Hear about his life and education growing up in Germany and how Arizona became his home where he works to serve the classical and LGBTQIA+ communities.
